His Journey

Such a blessing to have a brand new grandson born into our family. This is just a short version of the story behind the story. Smile

The sperm, the egg, would not connect
Could not contact, feeling reject
The doctor signed a prescription
A year passed by, void description

Her friends received the news they yearned
The happiness she often learned
Her heart would ache, though glad their fate
He wished a boy, her friend, her mate

For them they guessed it not to be
To raise a happy family
Alone they felt, while others cheered
Another one would soon be reared

One day the tide came in so clear
A sperm decided to say 'dear'
The two became the one which grew
Into the babe they dreamed anew

A babe, a boy, on mummy's breast
And daddy glad, his mind at rest
The journey tough, but heaven sent
This babe of ours that God has lent

Yes, the making of a baby isn't always easy for some families, and I can feel sorry for yours. I am glad that the end result was such a happy occasion. Congratulations.

You did comment. As you can see, it could use some help. It's for a contest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
