All Hail, Josie!
By Katanga
25 July 2008

Well, why not?

She thoroughly deserves a tribute!

Please see recent 'coot' poems for relevance! ('The Baldasacoot', and 'Hail Brave Baldicoot' (?))

Ha!

Cheers!

John X

The Fairest Princess

All hail to thee, my fair Cootess,

Whose life was once in quite a mess,
Who gives me strength in my distress.
Of poetry? The first princess!

And "never before" have I read anything to match it. ha ha. Certainly never before or never again (hopefully) be referred to as a fair Cootess. I wonder what caused the distress John? Was it something I wrote? ha ha Enough -Goodnight and thanks.

I'm liking the reference to fair cootess. Good poem!

Indeed. I think she is certainly gifted with a talent for rhyme and rhythm. If I remember well Josie once saved a duck, so maybe now she can do the same for coots?

A brilliant subject as Josie has been a great inspiration for me and others I'm sure. A great poem for a great poet - I like it. :)
