This is one of a number of verses I wrote when working in Florida as a 'visiting professor'of English language communications and British literature! The collection is called American Pie and the sub-title of the verse is Victim of a False Hunk. The Ballad of Cindy-Lou (Victim of a False Hunk) Cindy-Lou was a cute young kid Till she go she got laid by Big Boy Sid: "Oh, he's such a hunk!" she said, Before he had her in his bed. Six months gone, they moved away - Someplace right down Hicksville way. Five brats later an' gone to seed, Poor Cindy-Lou's in dire need - Big Boy Sid is a big fat slob (Might earn a buck with a lil' odd job) But mostly they live on the ol' Welfare, An nobody really has a care (do you?) For poor, fat-gutted Cindy-Lou.
