Heidi Smith's Mum

Nothing to look at any more

Unless you feel like a good time

Past experience leads to this

Guaranteed to last for longer

Once the fancy of the town

She took advantage of her age

Forgot their names, forgot the mess

As they forgot her

And the past triumphs are all she has to hold onto

‘Cause now she has to settle for something less

Those days of old were once so tough

Those small regrets are not important

Nice poem. I have no idea who Heidi Smith is, but I think this could go for many people. There's a lot to think about with this poem.
