SEASONS
By JohnnyD
01 September 2008
They arrive, stay for while and then go away
Leaving fond memories and miseries alike
There's always a passion filled in the air
As it engulfs each one of us in a unique manner

After a long hard winter season
The arrival of summer is such a welcome change
Even before you can enjoy
The summer heat starts burning everything in its vicinity

Waiting, anticipating and even praying
A look up the sky brings smile
It is time for the rainy season to arrive
To end the woes from endless summer heat

Celebration all around in soothing ambience
The first drop brings joy and happiness
Greenery spreads its wings in true delight
As farmers rejoice all over the land

The joy doesn’t last forever though
As the season engulfs in its fury
With no respite and nowhere to run
Prayers for a better season are heard everywhere

The rain stops, the heat burns
Wishes for an early winter is but obvious
As days goes by in trickling heat
The cool breeze arrives to spread a relief

The morning dew with heavy fog indicate winter’s arrival
Glowing faces all around create the wonderful ambience
The magic each season creates
Indeed is a marvel of geographical proportions

With so much of nature’s influence in our lives
We often interact with others like the seasons
The warmth disappears after a while
As one waits, anticipates and prays someone better to arrive in life

They arrive, stay for while and then go away
Leaving fond memories and miseries alike
There's always a passion filled in the air
As it engulfs each one of us in a unique manner.
