It's meant to be funny... How people overreact, this is for you. My throat burns. I ache from thirst. A gulp of water does nothing. The dryness cracks my voice. The pain brings on fatigue. I feel nothing but misery. Sleep calls my name. I cannot answer. It hurts to swallow. Lips chapped and eyes closed. I await death. I am ready...
