If you were ever a student or are a student then you can relate to this.

Generic topics and over explanatory lectures
I feel angry, then too tired to argue
My teacher drones on and on...

I am starting to let the cold wash over
The pathetic defeat of a teenage rebellion
The quite surrender of a anxious student

Picasso calls from across the room
Gogh whispers quietly between the pages
Angelou welcomes me closer

Distractions are easily acquired.

I am not sure of your title with the fullstops on either side. However, I do understand the feeling you are expressing. Picasso, Gogh and Angelou, musical-sounding names to conjure with.

Do you mean "quiet surrender"?
