The Chicken and the Egg
By Katanga
06 September 2008

An attempt to versify a very corny joke - similar to 'Winnie the Who?', posted 11th June, in case of interest?!

Is my attempt at turning well-worn jokes into 'verse' worth pursuing?

Honest reviews welcome!

If you don't like it - just say so!

The Chicken and the Egg

A chicken laid an egg one night -
didn't want to get involved.
It was just a casual easy lay,
but at least a problem's solved.

The egg was left frustrated by
the chicken's early burst.
"Huh!" she said, "At least I know
which one of us came first."

shouldn't that "casual one-night stand" be "an easy lay"!
