A Farewell to Bingo Wings
By cfergus30
08 September 2008
Just writing this made me reach for a jaffa cake.

Goodbye to Bingo Wings

I’ll see you in the bin

In chocolates, sweets and other things

It really is a sin

I like my wee home comforts

Digestive and a tea

But I still want to see the day

My grandchild’s on my knee

So farewell to calories

My favourite sweet and sour

If I can only keep this up

I’ll have lost within the hour

I write stuff like this as knee-jerk reactions. Never bothered with weight though....am stuck with that and no amount of verse will make me stick to diets!

New double-glazing.....four verses. Dog runs away and then returns....four verses. In love..ditto. Out of love..ditto..

Firts bit reminded me of "goodnight Irene" Faithful Rovers fan that I am!

What's next, a verse moaning about being boney? ;)

Yeah mikeyboy, throw away verse is fun. How about this one:

Im tired of being boney,
It makes me kind of moaney,
I always think of cakes and other things.

I'm going to stuff my lips,
with cakes and crisps and dips,
and then it will be back to bingo wings.

:grin
