9/11

it happened
people died

Believe it.

No I don't hate you...
I find your theories amusing though
Like the government can control everything!

Tell me again, you say this was all made up?
So, those jumping were just paid actors?
And the passengers are hiding somewhere?

Why must you make a joke of horrible things?
Can't you accept things like these tend to happen?
The holocaust really happened, you know...

The moon landing was also real
Hitler really wanted a perfect Germany
Groups of people do hate America

One decided to attack her
This isn't Roswell
Get a grip, please

People really died
Thousands of them
Stop mocking the tragedies

People can hate America
People have
People will

Still don't believe?

I don't think there are many that doubt if 9/11 really happened. It's too strange to have been made up.
What some may be worried about though is what happened afterwards: Two wars, hundreds of thousands of dead, rising oil prices, growing international tensions...

I know how you feel.

Yesterday at my school, our ensemble played a beautiful rendition of the star-spangled banner in memorial. This kid in my grade refused to stand up and instead sang along obnoxiously with changed words like 'home of the terrorists.' He just wanted attention, but I couldn't help feel upset. My father is an airline pilot and one of his best friends was flying one the of the airplanes that was hijacked. It could easily have been my father.

I guess some people don't know how to deal with tragedy.

Anyway, excellent piece. Very heartfelt.

I don't think I'm quite up to speed on this one. Are you claiming there are people who believe that the whole attack on the Twin Towers was some kind of fancy fabrication? Not come across that before. Or are you saying that there are people who react differently to yourself to the attack and its aftermath?
