Let me tell you about young Tom Who wouldn't listen to his Mom. She warned him every single day "Don't wander off and go away." But he thought that he knew best And wandered off with all the rest. Off to were the big boys go Even though she'd told him "No". Down the road and round the bend He marched along for hours on end. He passed a wood, a field as well He went up hill and down the dell. He marched past cows and horses too Who shouted, "Tom, what's wrong with you? You should have listened when she said, "Don't stray from home, stay here instead." He travelled on without a care And met a girl with golden hair. He smiled at her and took her hand She was the fairest in the land. "I've waited ages, where've you been?" She nagged him and was really mean. And Tom was sorry that he'd come He should have listended to his Mum. Nana
