Cleave: Steak and red wine

It is great to see more cleaves.
Thank you fellpony for submitting.
Does anyone else want to submit to The Cleave webzine?

Here is a Cleave I have finally finished after 6 months or so.

____________________________Steak and red wine

________________The sirens whine - flames flash
_____and lights slice through smoke - heavy with the smell of steak
shrouding bodies littering the ground - charred at the edges.
__The policeman stalks a straight line - I swallow, I gulp
_________________________I wobble, - expensive
______________booze on my breath - red wine
______________and guilt in my guts - trying to conceal burnt meat.

Finished after 6 months, eh?!

Now that IS a labour of love!

I like it and think it meets the requirements of the form admirably!

A shame no one else has reviewed it so far . . .

Cheers!

John
