Its terrible.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't like it.
Also I can Spell :]

My sands of time are fading,
They burn away grain by grain,
All this time,
And yet never a spare moment,
Time slips through my hands,
But yet time was never mine to grasp,
I say I cherish these few moments,
But how could one cherish someting,
When he barely understands the concept.

I think this may have been improved by instilling some anacreontic content. We all know that life is brief, but what good does it do anyone to sit about bemoaning a fate that's coming to all of us? Tell us what we should enjoy, and why, in this short time - drink, make love, enjoy good food and company, then there are moments to truly cherish.
Cheers
