Just letting off steam! BTW, what is the rule about capitalisation after a colon?

Cheers!

Bananas

Some plates are described as tectonic,
and bananas as quaintly dildonic.
I'm prone to illusion,
but reach the conclusion:
Our language is frankly moronic.

Some nice rhyming (dildonic?) and I like the closing line.
Cheers

This was a throw-away piece, born out of dusty frustration.

I just remember describing my motorbike as 'dildonic' and eliciting a laugh from a very senior female assessor.

Fond memories for me, and I love the word!

Thank you for the review!

Cheers!

Well, you accuse me of inventing words - dildonic is a triumph! (and maybe the motor bike was too).

Dildonic - sounds like a Greek column...oh dear!
