Life

Just some rantings I decided to put together in a poem. Smile

life

People love to play games,
In their lives everyday.
They shout and scream,
And stomp their feet
Until you shrink away.

There are no real winners,
Within this strange old world.
No victory,
You live, you die.
The mystery of life!

Be glad of each new day,
Before the reaper comes.
Say what you need,
To those you love.
It's too late when you're gone.

So never get caught up with the crap of everyday.
Life is nothing but a blip before you fade away.

Poems often work best when they concentrate on one theme. You have taken on so many in this poem that it lacks focus, but then with a title like Life your were almost bound to do that.
Not sure what to make of that last line
Who was it who said "life is what happens when you're busy making plans"
Lots to think about here

I agree with Jane here, but with the title 'Life' it just has to be complex. Whoever you are, you are going to get caught up in the crap of everyday.
Strong feelings . . .

. . . come through in this, and that is good.

But please consider the following:

"True ease in writing comes from Art, not chance,
As those move easiest who have learnt to dance."

(Alexander Pope)

Cheers!
