College All-nighter

I found myself forgetting
that it's okay to miss a due date
okay to fail the occasional exam

I found myself hitting brick walls
reading chapters that never end
forgetting what reading really is

Then I found myself at my desk
with poems bursting onto paper
forgetting trivia, remembering meaning
