Poetry
the rainbow
By brook_rivers
20 February 2006

Colours reflected in the rain,
The sun has come out again,
The rainbow is arched high in the sky,

Red like roses and love,
Yellow like sand and happiness,
Green like grass and envy,
Blue like the sea and depression
Indigo like passion and wealth
Violet like flowers and hope
Golden like life.

Birds soar through the magnitude of colour
While the sun makes everything visible
So the raindrops can be seen delicately painting the world.

It's good! The last line is kinda longer than the others so maybe if you broke it up like: "So the raindrops can be seen/delicately painting the world."??

I agree with B.D. I thought this was a wonderful piece, you've turned something already beautiful into a work of art. lol, well done.

Just a suggestion though; this might make it flow better
"Colours reflected in the rain/ The sun has come out yet again"

Up to you, again, well done.
