From real - life experience. A family member.

I'm in this body, lost.

I have a home, do I?

I want to go there, will I?

They say I'm there, who do?

You do.

They tell me names, lots

of photos in frames.

They stare at me

my family tree,

Are they?

In my head I'm bossed

by dreams and thoughts

Frustration builds.

Can't get away

Can I?

So this is me, tossed

into my memories.

I know one thing -

I like to sing.

So this is me now

Somehow?

Reviews

Mmmm... a very effective attempt to express what for most of us is inexpressible. The sparseness of language and the uncertain questions at the end of each verse convey really strongly the sense of disconnection that I can only imagine must be part of the experience.
