Was gonna call this "Neighbours" at first, but i am pleased i didn't

“We find his banter quite amusing –
why else would we invite
someone like him to our party?”

    “He’s an uncomplicated lay,
    which means I can leave
as soon as it’s over – and I do.”

“That’s not how it is. I blow him
for a tenner and he gives it to me
because I need the money – not because…”

   “He’s nice. He takes me
for drives to the beach. I think
He would like to be more than just friends.

Slightly creepy, and I'm unsure as to why it's her 'Three Sons' as if there might be some incest in there, but maybe I'm missing something. What about 'The Arrangement' or something like that? It seems to be more about that than the sex.

Maybe also you could introduce the idea of a hidden facet of suburbia- 'You have to make your own fun around here, after all' but then the poem is spare and effective already. It's up to you. Again, I love it. It has me grinning in the library and the people around me think I'm mentally disabled.

the title refers to the fact that there are four voices in the poem...
the creepiness comes in when you realise they are all referring to the man next door...
was trying to create a creepy poem without being too explicit
thanks for your great comments xx
