experimenting with anglo-saxon poetic technique!

The bitter breeze                       biting harshly
Gently softening into               springs freshness
Budding flowers then               bloom magnificently
Searing and sizzling                  shrivelling under the sun
The heat and sweat                   of summer’s day
Has cooled and calmed             coldness has arrived
And falling leaves                      feature all around us
Green and some brown,            with grey and orange
The changing of seasons         suddenly completed
Finally frosting and                    freezing into winter
