Ryan- Air claim the high ground
By Bottleblondesurfer

Is it me or are the government really losing the plot?

Just a short bit of nonsense.

The government’s call to save fuel by driving 5 miles less has been greeted with derision in some quarters, most notably by the head of Ryan Air who claimed Gordon had the idea off them as they have been doing that on their flights for years.

“If anyone now complains that they have been dropped of at some God-forsaken little airport miles from anywhere. We can tell them it’s to save the planet,” said the head of Ryan Air in typically belligerent mood.

I heard customers had to pay extra to Ryanair if they wanted to be dropped off at a named airport
anyway. They might as well rewrite the road maps and make everywhere five miles nearer.
I would say roll on the election but let`s face it it`s just going to be more of the same isn`t it?

Dropped off, minus parachute, I assume. Nice angle, Jane… particularly the eco-bollocks. The effect on air miles will be devastating.

Michael O'Leary for PM!

Pity he's not British, then he could be the PM the UK deserves.

Only he could convince everybody they pay next to nothing in taxes, while actually ripping them off.

He could reduce the National debt without anybody really noticing, because we'd all think somebody else was paying. After all, that's what he does now.

And thinkof the Billions he make by charging everybody £8 for every kilo they weigh over 15Kg -- he could even claim it was ethical since children under five go tax free and it would encourage the population to eat healthily. Then he could make more millions by insisting we pay highly inflated prices for healthy food.

I'd better stop before I get sued

I suppose one needs to be in the UK to get this, but I get the big picture. And ah well, Easyjet wants to have people stand on short flights don't they?
