I still recall your hand

I still recall your hand
But you have fallen back.
For me it does mean much
But train has left the track.

Like my perpetual wish.
And we no longer try.
Intentions are so grand,
And there’s no use to cry.

But this tremendous room
Is so unmeaning now.
..the former cup of yours,
The undemanded “why?”

I still recall your steps,
You’ve made me keep my tears.
My life is going on,
Just every single day
Some feeling breaks and fears.

I'm not a poet but I thought this was a well structured poem . with tight clear rhyming and well expressed and accessible emotion.

Lots of emotion there and what feels like true feeling. God knows I know nothing about poetry but I felt a little like you had to work really hard to get the ryhme just right - which can be good but sometimes means you had to contrive a word here or there.
