Rush......

The summary of Ecstasy.....

The infectious thought,
The rising damp,
The feeling of the whomb you want to entrap,
A chase for the love, of years ago,
Held by mother,
Never letting go,
Wrapped in cotton,
Feeling safe,
The buzz has started lets misbehave.

Close your eyes, to be overwhelmd,
Bubble wrapped memories, flow to the helm,
You still cant see whats really there,
But the rushes and tingles from the wide eyed stare,
Show you a place,
Full of solice and love,
You show no hate,

The acceptance of you,
The feeling of I,
No more misjudging your on the high,
Be yourself, Open your heart,
Untill the rocket that was at the start,
Loses its thrust, plummets down,
The feelings you left are now reborn,
Amplified, indulging,
Your concious mind,
The fear of the love thats left behind,

The moments of clarity we all must hit,
Dropping from your ecstasy,
Your personal bliss,
Humanistic flaws,
Discovered by all,
In cottonwool,
You sliver and crawl,
You cant get no sleep,
escape from the hate,
You hit the gas for another state,
Once its over,
Your back to square one,
Close your eyes and drop out,
The high has just begun.

Great use of rhythm here, you almost feel the insistent thump of the beat in a sweaty, strobe-lit club somewhere. This is really catchy and would make a great performance piece. A magazine like Star Poetry, which publishes modern rhyming verse, would probably be interested in it too. There are a few spelling mistakes ("womb", "solace", "you're") but they don't detract at all from the feel of the piece - and of course they'd never be noticed in a performance context!

This is good. Sums up a mood and a feeling. And the change that comes afterwards.
