just thought of this.... more a joke than a script really

I`ve got a mate who had a right barny with his missus the other day. Slanging away at one another they were until she stormed off to bed. An hour later  my mate plucked up enough courage to join her. He slipped into bed and tried a bit of damage limitation but she was having none of it and they spent the rest of the night warming one another`s arses. In the morning he tries again but she`s still in a right strop so he jumps out of bed and goes downstairs. He`s really pissed off by now and starts slamming cupboard doors and banging crockery down on the worktop. Anyway his missus must have heard all this because she comes to the top of the stairs and shouts down. "What the friggin` hell are you doing down there Bert!" to which Bert replies `Bollocks!"
"Well just do one and I`ll have an egg.....

Woody, I know I am always banging on about this but if more people actually scripted what they wrote it would cut much sharper. The idea's good but put into script format, as Brook is hinting, would really propel it. You can have so mush more fun with a script since you get to write in the effects. Story format has certain limitations. A script can be anything anywhere. Otherwise well done.
right again...

thanks a million Gerard. You are of course, absolutely right about the piece, in fact last night I was doodling with it to try and knock it into script form,(just for my own amusement) and having a lot of fun on the way! ( I had them trying to outfart each other whilst they were back-to-back in bed).As you say you can add so much more to a character this way, particularly when it`s comedy. Once again thanks for the comments.

happy writing...

Sorry Woody, I am so rude not to have passed comment on this. I think brook and the others have said it all really, but I do admit I tend to do as you have and rush stuff just to get the buggers up on the site.

Ah well, thats the difference between us & the pro's I expect.

Good idea, wrong format.

Cheers
