Poetry
Goth Child

My poems are almost always freestyle.  Because of this I often wonder if all sense of rythm and poetic relevance have managed to have gotten lost in the imagery I tend to be so fond of...  Critiques welcome.

Pray, Goth child
- the acid
tongue in cheek
song to the gods of
Poison;

Cut her open
- sink inside
the heart racing
toward chaotic bliss;

Sin, Goth child
- to your heart’s
content;
When did the Devil
ever beg for salvation?

It's far to "cryptic". It provokes thought but then images of Historic Goths and "Fashion" Goths spring up only to confuse me further.

It's rather like an abstract painting with powerful but to me meaningless images.

I have to admit that I don't understand it, but then I'm not very bright.

Thanks for your time and review,

Brian
