If you remember those old adventure games where you type "Attack the dragon with the enchanted sword" or "Examine the semi-skimmed milk", you might agree that an entertaining writing challenge lies in creating your own. With Inform 7, a free program for Windows and Mac, you can do just that - and just by forming logical sentences. Believe it or not, 'programming' now amounts to writing things like "The cask is either customs sealed, liable to tax or stolen goods". Amazing. Inform 7 |
