broken hearted fools

well i just got my heart broken so here eat your hearts out.

love is pain,
and love is hurt,
but love is what they say is worth,
the pain of love,
the pain of hurt,
but either way one has to loose,
for even for a soul of two,
you can not just turn and walk away,
you can not run from what is bayed,
the horror that you hold before you is called love.

You're not alone see "Pillock Entire", I find it eerie that two complementery poems are posted almost at the same time.

The worst thing is that you and he are now no longer "us".

Hi BlackRose,

Really enjoyed this poem! I like the fact that you got right down to the raw and the imagery evoked by the use of the word 'bayed'. Your personification of love as a wolf is brilliant. Keep it up!

It's so common now-a-days that even if you miss it it might find you. Good luck avoiding it in the future. I have no heart to hurt, so I am safe.
