I know it's a poem and not a script nor a tale but it's a tribute to the posters on this forum. Humour is a full life's centring sun, Round which eccentric planets rotate. Drawn in by the gravity of fun, Basking in the warmth that it creates. |

Apart from a couple of pieces I did for a writing workshop I have never really `got into` poetry.Perhaps I should have a go. | Thanks Woody Written by BrianRobertNeal (1195 comments posted) 20th May 2006 | I don't write much poetry that's not humorous or spoof/parody. But of my serious pieces this is my favourite. Thanks for your time and comments. Brian. | Written by Bottleblondesurfer (3449 comments posted) 20th May 2006 | Wow you make it sound really rather wonderful. I thought I was trying to be funny to block out the black dog of depression and incipient pschosis but actually I think I prefer your rationale after all. Well done that man and on behalf of all the aspiring humourists here, thanks. A nice gesture. cheers BBS | Thanks BBS Written by BrianRobertNeal (1195 comments posted) 20th May 2006 | For your time and comments. I must confess that I'm very pleased with this peice, particularly the line Drawn in by the gravity of fun, which must contain my subtlest of puns. Brian. | Written by Bottleblondesurfer (3449 comments posted) 20th May 2006 | Yes I was going to comment on that line. I mean you must be serious about comedy or it won't be funny. As you say a clever and telling line | Thanks again BBS Written by BrianRobertNeal (1195 comments posted) 20th May 2006 | Would you like a special edition of Octopus, if so PM your E-Mail address, like I promised Woody, I wont stalk you, honest, Brian. |
