Lucid Dream
By Flippy_D
18 April 2005
I sat on the train, and watched the light sculpt my face,
And shadows erase it.
I saw a block of black, studded with blocks of light,
And I stepped up them,
Across the concrete.
And from the top I saw the bay,
Scattering conch shells, hued with the sunset,
Infused with the sky,
Blurred with the wind, and the sand.
And I dreamt of my girl-in-cloth,
With swept hair and smile,
And her cheeks became the coral.
