Poetry
My Beloved.
By cynicsid
29 May 2006
Music by Borodin, as used in the song "And this is my beloved" from Kismet.

Five foot and fifteen stone:
Like a Sumo in the ring
Grappling.
Imagine this,
In a boiler suit.
And this is my beloved.

A voice, that shatters rocks.
Scowl that sets the milk
Curdling.
Imagine this,
Aggression's clone,
And this is my beloved.

And when she nags.
And when she shouts at me.
Misery.
Agony.

And when she throws,
A red hot iron at me;
Followed by
The Ironing Board.

What can I say?
I can't run away.
She's now got me in
A headlock.

Imagine this once so perfect one.
And this is my beloved.

And this is my BELOVE-OVE-ED.
