Poetry
an experiment

I was trying out new techniques for poetry.  I came up with word associated. I firstly thought of words related to each other : edge- sharp - knife and put them down the left side of the column and then write a sentence about each and put it all together! what do you think?! can i call it poetry?!

Edge of reason
Sharp side of your mind
Knife positioned for...
Tomato sliced and diced
Red rose blooming
Lipstick smudges
Kiss me quick

What a cool method!

Love it! This is what I call a 'good experiment'. It definitely works. I've found in the past, associative words have an inner resonance that is not even obvious on the conscious level, but somehow link together to make something interesting and often intriguing.

More examples of the experiment - Please!
