An interesting, and well crafted diatribe of what is wrong with popular culture!

Good writing...

What's in a name....

I wasn't wondering. But it is an interesting subject nonetheless. I wonder what you did call him? My girl and three boys were named Eirinn, Gaelhain, Rhurhi and Ardhal. They are always in a minority wherever they go down here. Living in the land of ' Adam and Jocasta' both my wife and myself were determined our children would never forget from whence they came. They all seem to have turned out well. Celts put a lot of importance on a name. It's not something you fish out of a book from Clinton's Cards.

Nice little piece. Well done.

Slan!

I don't have a son!

I have two daughters and don't anticipate any further additions. I was at the playpark yesterday with one of the girls and had the misfortune of hearing several ridiculous names being bellowed about the place. Of course all the above are not ridiculous and others that didn't make the list are.

I mean in my daughters class at school there is both an Emma Thomson and a Naomi Cambell. They must have known!
