| An Ode to Johnny Cash | |

Just got a new Johnny Cash Cd for my birthday and it inspired me to write this poem. When my life gets too ordinary And I feel like doing something rash, I rummage through my CD collection And listen to Johnny Cash. He was not slick and sophisticated Or trendy and flash. He was brutally honest his whole life; Just being Johnny Cash. With a face made out of granite And a tongue like a lash, He dominated with his dignity. "Hello. I'm Johnny Cash."
