hi everyone! writing isnt sometihng i'v ever attempted before, or ever wanted to do, but now its kind of an extension to my art, and i feels that its a direction i need to explore.

so any comments will be greatly appreciated!

thanks

I cannot accept that we will be a moment in the past

A story to tell of a time that did not last

To know a stranger is by your side

I toss, I turn I cannot hide

A new direction is all well and good

But do it by my side I pray to God you could

A fairy tail crammed into a cardboard box

Photos and all my heart is now locked

Tis a tail of a Prince without his Princess
Yes I still love you, I confess

i think this is one of the most heartfelt and beautiful poems i have seen on this site, and assuming from your intro it is one of your first i encourage you to continue writing as you clearly have a gift for it. Maybe its because im in the same place at the moment but this poem really said it all for me.

thank you for posting this poem, look forward to reading more of your work
