Listening to Otis Taylor, low down dirty blues, mood is low and ...I don't know.......gonna slip on my writin' shoes...... Looking out on a drizzly morning, feeling like the drizzle has got into my brain. Gonna jump into a Radox bath, see if I can energise myself again. Second cup of tea and a cigarette, Gotta tear me away from the damn machine. Go outside and embrace the blameless day, see some friends and be seen. Man......I got it so bad, I got the Monday morning blues. First I have to clean the kitchen, where the dog peed on the floor. Discovered it first thing this morning, booted him right out the kitchen door. I am listening to Otis Taylor, loud on the speaker of my pc. 'Live your life before you die' Trying to follow his advice, hoping it's not all a great big lie. Man......I got it so bad, I got the Monday morning blues. Something missing from around me, something missing all the while. This 'autumn life is glass half empty.Hollow shell and yellow smile. Invisibilty's a cloak I pull around me. It comforts me, keeps out the fools. I lost the race and I'm confounded. Tell me when they changed the rules. Man......I got it so bad, I got the Monday morning blues.
