Wheel of Love : Second turning

Even in the beginning

Answer and Question

In me too many voices cry ,
too many songs are sung;
and one will laugh and one will sigh
and one will chatter through the bone.

The bubbling of the lusty blood
counterpoints the fall of tears;
the song today has understood
is madness to tomorrow's ears.

So when I sing my song to you,
as valid as it seems,
how do we know that the song is true ?
or the song and listener dreams ?

Patterjack... this is absolutely beautiful, intricate and deep. The polarising of the words string together something that needs to be read again and again.

I thought the ending...

"how do we know that the song is true ?
or the song and listener dreams ?"

...particularly lovely. An interpretation: how do we know we are real, what is reality, and is reality real anyway?

Just fabulous...

best wishes
