I find myself reminiscing

Of our happier times

Like when we were kissing

Under your bedroom wind chimes

I so strongly repent

Letting these times fade away

But from this grim discontent

My love grows deeper day by day

Your beauty has touched my heart

Like nothing before

So please, lets make a fresh start..

How wasted is this stupid art?

thanks for the comment.

i wasnt sure whether i should include it, but i did because i felt it showed a hopelessness to the poem, as its a kind of letter to someone who will probably not read it.

Just caught this...good except for the last line...Poetry is not a stupid art. It threw a different complexion on an otherwise lovely, thoughful poem.
