Love's Identity

This was inspired by my own 'Sam'.

PS Those who have read 'Consequences...' in Extended will know who I mean!

A reflection
A turn
An expression
To discern

An action
A pass
A gesture
To last

A sound
A song
A voice
To belong

Each, takes me back
Making yesterday, today

Your eyes
No lies
Looking
With surprise

Your mouth
Sweet words
Delivering
Always heard

Your hands
Always there
Protecting
Gentle care

Reality can not define this love

If miles apart
We are together
No separation
As one
Connected forever.

I can understand what you mean, letting the words just flow , letting the meanings of those words just flow. That was really good. really.

I really like poetry that uses a minimal amount of words, to me it somehow frees up more of my brain to find the meaning of the words

very good writing

I enjoyed the use of words in this poem, I liked the way the phrasing seemed to flow from one word to another. it is very effective. Lovely. Elly
