Woman You Are.
19 June 2006
A poem of love for women in all their glory. Brightening the day with all their feminine charms.

You are beautiful, picture as a new flower
Scent as a pink rose, around a green bush
Still as morning breath on a clear mirror
Eyes deep as morning sunglow at evening light

                             Hands as warm as soft,fireside,glow
                             Blushing cheeks,wet red ,bright lips
Shape of wonder, like fog on a calm sea
Happiness that fills my heart and soul

You are music when all sound is gone
In the night your light shines like the moon
You are my day when you enter my vision
A woman ,so simple, you comfort my life.

This poem I think flows very well, i especially like the line
"You are music when all sound is gone"
I think that that is a very powerul line and no matter what your idea of music is everyone can relate to it.
I love the use of the 'fireside glow' as that has great conatations
of warmth. Overall a really nice poem.

keep writing!

My perspective...

"You are beautiful, picture as a new flower"

I can't speak for all women everywhere, but comparisons to flowers are kind of played out. Your sentence structure needs work.

"You are music when all sound is gone". Out of this whole piece, this is the only thing that struck me as worth salvaging.
