A Million Ways I Love You
By bloodange77
26 June 2006
I wrote this for my love. i found one yes.

A million ways I love you,
I love you more than the ocean has waves.
I love you more than the sun is hot.
I love you more than I need oxygen to breathe.
I love you a million ways.
But the best way to tell you is to,
just give you a sweet short simple kiss.

Reminds me of elizabeth barrett brownings poem, which was used in a nice comtemporary version by julia stiles in 10 things i hate about you - the movie based on the taming of the shrew.

in just 57 words you've compressed a huge amount of feeling for this special person.

sometimes articulating how strongly you feel about someone or something is incredibly difficult and frustrating, like trying to nail jelly to a wall, but you've done a fantastic job here!.

well done, great stuff
Lovely in its Simplicity

I really liked this poem.

A huge love, immense in the initial descriptions, encapsulated and narrowed down to 'just a kiss'.

Wonderful writing...

best wishes
