Floating free and full of grace
I've caught up with the human race
And dipped a toe in cyberspace.

No more talking face to face,
No more writing at snails pace.
My pen was mightier than the sword,
Dispatch my enemies now on word.

You can be he, you can be she,
Twenty two or fifty three,
Earth- mum or city-slicker,
Lonely youth or defrocked vicar.
Surfing on the world wide sea,
I don't know you, you can't see me.
I'm anonymous as I want to be.
In cyberspace my words float free.

I'm logging off, I'm logging on,
I'm software,hardware, techno-dumb.
I'm cramping up, my legs are numb,
Yet browsing, scrolling with my mouse,
I never need to leave the house,
Lost all feeling in my feet,
Oh bugger,damn, I've pressed delete...
