For Children
Swim Please
By Buchan
06 July 2006
It is so important that children swim from a very young age..Parents ,Someone  help them.

Never cold in a warm sea
Swim in water wet and clear
                                 Please don't drown going down
                                 Air around must be found

                                  Blue ocean dark and deep
No place to dwell or sleep
Truth to tell fish swim well
                                  Elephants do.......do you?

I agree with you on the importance of children able to swim and this simple bit of verse expesses it well. This would work well in childrens book of verse. And the ending me smile,so often poems end weakly but this was brilliant
cheers

BRN's piece and your's are didactic and serve a useful purpose.

It's a soul destroying Forum as nobody seems to read and review the work of others.

Part of the delight of Web-Sites is getting to "know" fellow posters through "reviews".
