oops Written by maipenrai (784 comments posted) 7th July 2006 | | sorry spelling mistake=brothers not bothers | Mai Written by cynicsid (177 comments posted) 8th July 2006 | Re-correction of work: go" to view my work", click on "Sold" and you can edit the piece. Re the poem, you don't have to go to the Congo to see people being abused, male and famale, young and old. East European Sex Slaves, Paedophile ensnared chidren, old folk in care homes, the list is endless. Final thought, the 10 or 10+ year old brother/brothers would have been snatched and taken into one of the warring factions' armies to be eventually slaughtered. Solemn Sid.

But you have captured the 'voice' of a child and in doing so have made the poem poignant, disturbing and painful. The last lines really made me shiver: would sell our trinkets and ourselves Really well done... best wishes mishmish | thanks Written by maipenrai (784 comments posted) 9th July 2006 | Mishmash, thank you so much for your comments.
