Just an old poem I had on my computer, about, well, need and addiction. Its not the best piece ever, but at least Ive contributed something!  Swallowed up by this need Im feeling, Heartbeat pulsing, Senses keening, Fighting for a last breath. Before I go under, Before I seek what plagues me, I know the electric thunder, and lighting that'll burn in my veins. As I drink deeply and dream, still fighting myself, As I try not to scream, Swallowed up by this need Im feeling.
