Down this path
By Beeman

Down this path before,

passed a different story

at each door.

Down this path before,

who knows who's gone before?

I pass your door,

you're out.

Down this path before

and after I never felt different,

never noticed change

until now.

Down this path before,

so what if I get lost,

It's nice to revisit it.

Down this path before,

it's your way,

your shortcut.

Down this path before,

over and over.

Good stuff. I think I can relate to doing something over and over and feeling it is both useless and necessary.

I liked it but the end is kinda...awkward?? The "it's your way,/your shortcut." just, in my opinion, doesn't fit in.
