To Think I Used To Love You...
By James
09 July 2006
Well Lauren did somthing that upset me the other day, so I wrote a poem about it. I still love her loads, dispite the title of the poem and how I was feeling at the time of writing. Well, the poem speaks for itself.

Thanks for reading and can't wait to read your reviews!!

It’s pretty ironic isn’t it? Quite sad but defiantly true,

The fact that my pen and paper met, to write lovingly of you,

But that’s all about to change, because I know that you know,

When it does strike twelve, the evilness of the devils crow,

Comes out and stabs me in the heart,

For all I’ve thought of you was a wasted piece of art.

To be honest, you’re the person I’d least expect,

But when I look back now and reflect,

You never really seemed interested in how I felt,

My heart was like ice, that your fiery truth did melt,

So now I sit here, thinking of my mistake,

I blamed a real close friend, for that myself I hate,

Don’t think I’ll come crawling back like I used to,

I’m a stronger person now for all I’ve been through,

I was speechless when I heard the news,

To keep on loving you, I refuse,

For I can’t believe you would do this,

My broken heart travels through this abyss.

Now it’s time for my final decision,

I think long and hard with clear precision,

There’s nothing more I can do, I’m full of hate,

If I repeat my actions I may suffer the same fate,

So I’ll let you have your say,

But hurry up, I don’t have all day…
