How can I forgive You
By maipenrai
22 July 2006
Ah,but if you do not worship
the holy one on high
if your sins are great and
you let the poor man die
if you cannot walk
that long and crooked mile
how can I forgive you son
I would only have to smile.

If your promises
are made of sand
that scatter before the truth
if your words are truly false
like so many dreams you have
how am I to save you son
I would only have to smile.
