Really

Written a few years back and not been touched since, I like it but it needs more...

The glass is half empty
between five and nine
with shrieks filter through
impeccable walls
and clean slates are washed dirty.

Alarm bells rattle
then fall to the floor
where the insanity of beauty
is splashed on walls
by paints of black
and rainbows laughing
crying
lying.

This is very interesting but I think you need to throw your audience a line- the references are so obscure that I cannot grasp your meaning. Unless this was written as an experiment and no meaning was intended? Please tell me more.
