inspired by a line in the holy Bible, during -- most ironically -- science class and written by a bored, broken-hearted schoolgirl.
as the day brings forth the coolness of the breeze,
and the shadows lengthen as darkness falls,
freedom rings in the wolf's ears, heart, and soul,
as he roams in the forest, in the darkness crawls.
the wolf breathes in the late afternoon air,
the day, it knew, was old and done,
the light now creeping, hiding away
the wolves howl, deep and smooth, as one.|

Written by rilLie (327 comments posted) 4th August 2006 | thanks for the reviews, everyone! really appreciate it... actually, this was inspired by the book of songs chap 4 verse 6. I was so bored during science class... we were studying matter and in the seventh grade, graduating, you would've known that like the back of your hand. our teacher noticed me writing just before i finished it. i didn't really get in trouble when she asked me what i was writing and i told the truth... she even curses Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev for making the periodic table of elements... (no offense to his fans or anything... it's opinion... in tagalog: wag damdamin!) anyway.. thanks! -rilLie 0_o |
