My Git in Shitty Armor
By rilLie

another at the moment thing...

science class it was

when he stumbled by my chair

and i saw his deep, dark eyes,

and his not-so-neat hair.

he's clumsy but i like it.

and he doesn't seem smart.

but he's my one and only,

even if he does fart.

his writing's a bit scrawny,

and his grades are at a drop.

he's almost always dirty,

but he's there and i won't stop.

he's tall and he's great,

that's all he has to be.

oh, my git in shitty armor,

you're everything to me.

OK I like it. It's a sort of love poem for realists. An indication of a relationship that stands a chance of surviving. And you have gone to the trouble of making it scan and rhyme so well done for that
cheers

Well that's the first time anyone has wrote a poem about me, so thanks for that. Am sorry I cannot recall our chance meeting however, so I apologise if it made more of an impression on you than it did on me.

Great title!

Cheers
